Teapup News! ****** On April 9th, 2013 the Teapup Team had the joy of participating in the annual "Taste of Ag" event in Warsaw Indiana. We got the opportunity to give out AKC coloring books, and candy to the children, as well as answering any questions they had about responsible dog raising. Most importantly, we got to share some puppy love with the community! 
 
 
 
 
 
On January 7th, 2013, Teapup had its first major outing of the year! With a few puppies in tow we made a trip over to Grace Village in Winona. We spent the afternoon visiting with the residents, having marvelous conversations, and playing with adorable puppies. The Teapup puppies very much enjoyed an afternoon out on the town, and the residents enjoyed the love and kisses from our pups. A good time was had by all. 
 
 
 
 On May 31st, Teapup walked through Milford's Memorial Day Parade. It was the perfect day to be out and about with the Teapup Team! Some of those who were involved sat on our float and handed out candy while others walked through the parade handing out brochures, letting them pet puppies, and of course Skyler wore his dog costume again. We saw some of our past puppies on the side with their new owners and our hearts swelled with joy to see how they have grown from when they were first born. We love to be involved in the community and cannot wait to participate in this wonderful event next year!          The Syracuse Library took a field trip over to Teapup on April 20! A group of children and some of their parents came to play with the puppies here! They were able to see new born puppies, taught how to handle the puppies, and learned about the breeds here at Teapup! Each person who attended was given a responsible puppy owner coloring book and some other treats from Teapup. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a fantastic afternoon! 
 
 
 
On April 10, the Teapup Team attended the Kosciusko County "Taste of Ag" in Warsaw. A Taste of Ag is an event that was designed to help inform the public about Agriculture, what is involved, and how very important it is to our community and world. We set up a booth and took a few of our puppies to show people from all over the county! It was a very exciting event and allowed us to share our knowledge of Teapup and gave them some informational packets that helped them learn about who we are. We had a lot of fun and met many new people! Below are some images that recap our fun filled evening! 
 
 
 On October 28th and 29th, some members of the Teapup Team were able to attend the 3rd Annual ICAW seminar in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On Friday afternoon, there were guest speakers who gave presentations on vaccinations, service and guide dogs, and puppy behavior, along with updates on various organizations. We were able to attend the banquet and auction in the evening to help support the efforts of ICAW. On Saturday, we had the privilege of gaining further knowledge and information from veterinarians and specialists. The seminar was a great bonding time between not only the Teapup Team, but also fellow dog and puppy enthusiasts! 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 On June 16th, Monarch Christian Academy's summer camp made a visit to Teapup! The kids had a great time playing with the puppies and learning about general puppy care. We were thrilled to have them come, and we were able to send them home with folders that included a coloring book, bookmarks, and information on caring for a puppy. We at Teapup feel that it is very important that people understand the responsibility that comes with raising a puppy, before they actually take the puppy home. This was a great way for the kids to start learning about those responsibilities, while also having fun playing with the little puppies. The Teapup crew had truly enjoyed spending time with the kids and their teachers! 
 
 
 
 Teapup had the wonderful opportunity of participating in the Milford Memorial Day parade on May 31st!! We redesigned our float and purchased matching shirts for the whole Team to wear. We were able to take several of our dogs and puppies along with us and they enjoyed the outing just as much as we did. We had a great time seeing so many familiar faces, even several people who had purchased puppies from us. We handed out brochures and business cards to the community and let them pet our dogs and pups. It was a fun way to show others that we are always "Striving for Perfection One Paw at a Time!"
On April 8th, the Teapup Team visited Cardinal Services in Warsaw, Indiana, which is a not-for-profit organization that serves people with disabilities and other needs. We were able to take a group of puppies for the people to pet, hold, and play with. It was a great experience! Everyone truly enjoyed the time spent there, and it was a great outing for the puppies and the Team alike! 
 
 On March 18th, Deb and part of the Teapup Team were able to attend an AKC sponsored dog training seminar that was hosted by NIPBA (Northern Indiana Pet Breeder's Association). The students learned some helpful tips on training dogs in both obedience and conformation. NIPBA also hosted an educational seminar on March 19th that both Deb and Amber were able to attend. It was a great day of fellowship with other dog lovers!
